If nothing else, you can tell that the PD of Descendants of the Sun is trying to give us the feel of a movie in drama form.  And if you consider that they have been filming for a good six months, they better have gotten it right.

I am loving the exotic local as well as the real military  vibe they are sending out.  I suspect that we are in for a very intense visual ride.  Now if only the script can keep up.  Here is me crossing my fingers and toes that all goes well.  Descendants of the Sun will begin airing on February 24th.
