Visually this drama is going to be stunning! Scarlet Heart: Ryeo is off to a great start promoting all the beautiful eye candy. That, combined with the fact that it is a remake of one of my favorite Chinese dramas, has me wishing it was already August.
Scarlet Heart: Ryeo is the story of Hae Soo (IU) who accidentally finds herself sent back in time where she wins the heart of multiple princes. As you can tell by the posters, there are a plethera of princes to choose from. Which is your prince bias?

The cast sure is pretty but hopefully we get a good story as well. Otherwise no amount of pretty will make me watch. 🙂
I loved the Chinese version while it aired, flaws and all. The Korean one is actually an adapatation of the novel, so it has room to make the story it’s own. We’ll see how it goes. Sageuks in the past fiew years have been mostly disappointing in one way or the other.
I wonder if the Korean princes will mirror the characteristics of the Chinese story..so excited
I thought I read somewhere that the Korean story is set in the early Goryeo – same time period as Shine and Go Crazy – but I don’t remember all those princes.
