I have really high hopes for Strong Woman Do Bong Soon.  I love the cast, the promos, and the synopsis…now they just need to deliver a clever rom-com.  Drama Geek and I are running out of new dramas to possibly recap so if this one doesn’t catch our blogging interest I am not sure when another full recap will happen.

**SYNOPSIS: Do Bong Soon is said to be so strong that touching something carelessly can result in a breakage. Meanwhile, In Dook Goo has been harboring an unrequited crush on her since elementary school. When she becomes the bodyguard of chaebol heir Ahn Min Hyuk, they quickly get involved in a twisted love triangle

We have a female lead being the tough strong hero for once which makes me happy and I am always a sucker for a good bodyguard trope.  Park Bo Young being the actress playing the bodyguard is just the icing on the cake.  Combine petite bodyguard and the always talented Park Hyung Sik being her chaebol love interest is possible chemistry gold.  And I don’t even have to wonder if Ji Soo will have good chemistry with his two co-stars…. he is Ji Soo after all and he has chemistry with everyone.

  1. Hm, this has the possibility of being absurdly over the top and bogged down with filler episodes of a plot we don’t care about…
