I am a huge fan of TvN’s current trend of premiering dramas that are not all fluff and filled with idols. And it looks like they are setting up yet another stellar drama surrounding the lives of three unhappy ahjummas looking for revenge.
SYNOPSIS: Avengers Social Club follows the lives of three women from different walks of life. A fish store ahjumma who wants a better life, a housewife who grew up as an orphan, and a chaebol’s daughter who is treated like a delicate greenhouse flower. The unlikely trio joins forces to carry out each other’s revenge against the people who have ruined their lives. Through enacting their revenge antics they become close friends.
I am crossing my fingers and toes that this drama actually gets picked up and subbed. Judging from DramaFever’s sudden lack of TvN dramas, this is a major concern. I am not sure if they are currently on the outs with TvN or just don’t want to invest in anything that doesn’t have a flower boy connected to it, but their lack of subbed TvN shows is making this fangirl a tiny bit cranky. If you hear of anywhere confirming that they will be subbing, drop us a note in the comments.
Avengers Social Club is set to air October 11th.
I honestly hope they do pick it up to be subbed. I am still reeling at the absence of quickly subbed age of youth 2 episodes, I can’t even imagine how I would feel if I don’t get to watch Avengers Social Club the meaning it airs.
This one looks great as well and love the three main actresses so really hope to get to see it. Am also concerned that neither Viki or DF seems to be licensing the tvN dramas so not sure what is going on. DF new dramas are slim and most have been or are already on Viki so what are they spending their money on?
I am wondering as well. You would think they would want to keep their drama viewers. Its a mystery.
I swear I read somewhere that tvN now has a contract with Netflix. I will dig around and see.

Looks like things are in negotiations, but I can’t find a distinct tvN-Netflix link.
