Thank you so much for this Podcast! I am going to the Hamilton BTS concert with a friend that is not into kpop at all. I bought her a ticket (super expensive!) just so I wouldn’t have to go alone. I was very happy to get tickets at all. After I got them I felt like I was on a high for the next week. Then being alone and having no one to spazz out about it with I had calmed down a whole lot. But after listening to you all I am feeling that excitement building up again. Thank you for putting a huge smile on my face…which isn’t suspicious at all while I sit here at work…lol.
I hope you and your friend have a great time. Even if she’s not into kpop, she will have a blast because you are having a blast. That’s the beauty of friendship. Go ahead and spazz out with us! Just listening to the blog made me grin like a fool!
You can come spazz here! I really wanted to go to the Hamilton show. I am only a couple of hours from there. Instead, I am going to LA with my Kbesties and now NY City with my family for the stadium concert. It’s important to find people you can fangirl (or fanboy) with! I am going to the actual concert in LA on a different night from my fellow fangirls, but I plan to be just a exuberant because BTS concerts are electrifying! You are going to have a blast!!!!
I had a bad experience at the Honda Center last year with getting in and with water bottles, so I contacted Staples this year and was told “Doors open 2.5 hours before the start of the show. In addition, we only allow empty or unopened bottles of water, 1L or less in size.”
If you have people who can keep your spot in line, there are a lot of less-expensive food options because Staples is smackdab downtown LA, you just have to branch out a bit from the hotel/theater/civic center area. There will most likely be a taco truck within walking distance, so check the paid parking lots that are around. Koreatown is relatively close if you want to drive for Korean food. If you like pupusas, I highly recommend the Pupuseria Don Carlos Village on the corner of Pico and Alvarado.
Good to know! The water bottle information is extremely valuable. Thanks!
