Well, will you look at that! All of our little ragtag Team Priest have hidden talents, even Annoying Nun. Remember back a few episodes when I said that she must have some kind of deep backstory? Join me as Team Priest continues to try to make the wrongs right again.

Annoying Nun is stunning and amazing

Let’s take a moment to appreciate Annoying Nun’s alter ego’s makeup. With her hair slicked back, dark eyes, and bold red lips, Annoying Nun will knock anyone’s socks off. Walking in with Father Kim and Father Han looking all dangerous and sexy in suits, well, this fangirl may have just hit pause for a little bit to let the scene soak in. Oh WOW! Annoying Nun isn’t here to just look good, she’s here to play a game and when she’s told she has to work for Gambler Guy if she loses, she coolly looks at him and says she will. I got chills watching her face him down. Then she quickly eliminates Cheol Bum’s guy, leaving her to face down the Gambler Guy. SHE WON! Flashback to Annoying Nun with her Mother Superior, Mother Superior told her there would be no punishment if she won, only if she loses.

Prosecutor Park and the Vault of Evil

Prosecutor Park is in with Team Thug in their vault with a lot of dirty money. She’s cool under pressure, they had a gun to her head and she didn’t crumble, so now she’s part of Team Thug. Even Father Kim is impressed by how much money Prosecutor Park would have as Team Thug. He says she should stay here and donate a lot of money to the church. Haha! Those two are so cute together. I love their little quips back and forth.

Police Superintendent Thug gets caught

While innocently eating a sandwich and drinking his banana milk, our shady Police Superintendent Thug turn on the television to discover his world crashing around him. In walks the investigating team and he’s packed up and taken away. Our police team now has to face the punishment they will get for going against orders. They argue over who should be punished and it makes my heart sore. All of them trying to protect each other is what teamwork is all about.

Thai Guy isn’t taking it anymore

Bad Hair Thug is eating at one of Thai Guy’s many jobs. He sees Thai Guy and tells him to go get him some pickled radish. Thai Guy tells him to get it himself. There is a total role reversal as Thai Guy tells Bad Hair Guy to recite the nursery rhyme but in Thai. Every time Bad Hair Guy gets it wrong he gets bonked on the head. Does anyone else see Thai Guy completely different now? I sure do!

Scarface plays dirty

Scarface sent all the information about the explosion and Father Kim to the press. Now everyone is protesting and Ukha Cult Leader is back. Ugh. I really really don’t like the Cult Leader. They are destroying poor Father Kim and it breaks my heart. How will he be able to survive this? Can he even still be a priest? While Father Kim is praying, Annoying Nun tells him he can lean on her. If she keeps this up I’m going t have to rename her Amazing Nun. She tells him the children must have already forgiven him and she is so encouraging. I think I may have teared up a little.

The committee has spoken

Father Kim is brought before a group of priests who decide that his fate is to be shipped off to do missionary work in Argentina for two years. I’m not against this actually. Yes, I want him to stay at his church, but this is one way he gets to keep his job and it’s only two years. In kdrama time that’s like 30 seconds. Team Priest is heartbroken, and now they have to hurry to solve Mentor Priest’s case before Father Kim leaves. Prosecutor Park comes to drink with Father Kim and give him some support. She tells him how she’s always been for herself, but now she is a part of something bigger and she cares. I’m tearing up again! These two have so much chemistry and their frenemy relationship has been so fun to watch.

Another One Bites the Dust

Bad Hair Lady Thug just had her office invaded by investigators. We knew when Prosecutor Thug took down Thug Police Superintendent that he wasn’t going to protect Bad Hair Lady Thug, so we knew this was coming. She, on the other hand, did not. All that’s left is Cheol Bum and Prosecutor Thug. You have to hand it to Prosecutor Thug, he wormed his way to the top and now he is King of the Castle. Will Cheol Bum take him down though?

Friends in high places

Father Kim can’t fly out of the country because his besties are determined to save him. They get him on the no-fly list and then they go and collect him at the airport. Did anyone else notice that Rookie is clinging to his arm as they walk? This does not please Prosecutor Thug. Oh my gosh, I’m laughing so hard. Prosecutor Park has dirt on another prosecutor and she’s made him her minion. He goes in front of Prosecutor Thug who is grilling him about why he banned Father Kim from leaving the country. The guy crumbles and says it’s because he’s in love with Prosecutor Park (it was all he could think of and he’s more scared of her than he is of Prosecutor Thug) and Father Kim hit her. How do you argue with a reason like that? Haha!

Sisters over Misters

During a Team Priest meetup to celebrate Father Kim still being with the group, the discussion of breaking into the safe comes up. Prosecutor Park wasn’t a part of the original conversation so she’s lost. Father Kim and the rest look everywhere but at her. Rookie, not one to hold much back, spills the plans to her new bestie. I love how the girls have banded together and we have this great little sismance here. Of course once she knows what’s up, Prosecutor Park wants in.

Attacks on all sides

Scarface brings a few guys he knows into the mix. He sends them to try to take out Father Kim. One guy calls him Sunbae, so he must be an old special forces guy. All I could think during this attack though was, I really hope they have this choreographed well because Kim Nam Gil can’t be fully healed yet. Scarface is threatening Father Kim’s crew, not smart Scarface, not smart at all. Scarface’s guys start to close in on our Team Priest, they have one guy with the nun, and someone just beat down our Rookie! Another guy is beating our cop buddies! Enter Thai Guy to Rookie’s rescue, only, he gets beat up pretty good too. Prosecutor Park and Father Kim show up to save Rookie and Thai Guy. Team Priest is scared and hurting, how will Father Kim save them all?

Final Thoughts

No previews! We are getting closer to the end of this drama and they are pulling out all the stops. Right now it feels really hopeless and helpless, but I’m hoping they can get past this and beat Scarface. I still feel like there is some filler with the cult guy and the “Russian”, but overall I’m still really enjoying this show.
