Dramas with a Side of Kimchi
My main problem with Abyss are unfulfilled promises, it was presented as cute rom-com, but it’s more of a thriller then anything else. Tonally it’s all over the place in very un-entertaining way.
I totally agree. I’m willing to be won over as long as there is some romance. But so far it has been heavy killer completely. Still need to watch ep 4 but I’m not feeling it so far.
The cute from the teasers was not present in the first 2 episodes and I was very disappointed.
And the killer story is boring, I would like them to focus more on the nature of the Abyss and why it was given to them.
It gets better by the middle and now I’m hooked but falls victim to the wrong categorization. Really not rom com.
