Dramas with a Side of Kimchi
Lee Jae Wook gets my nod for breakout year, thanks to the double dimples and his abilities even as a young man to take on 3 different roles (2 simultaneously) in one year with his hacker, young actor, and tormented manga highschooler. To learn that he was filming both “Extra-ordinary You” and “Search: WWW” at the same time when we know what schedules are like just doing one drama was pretty remarkable. He also had a movie supporting character role in the same year – busy and with an enormously high Q-factor – the camera just loves him. I look forward to his future projects.
