There’s a new Taiwanese drama coming to Netflix on January 23rd, and it looks completely intriguing. A little bit mystery, a little bit horror, a little bit comedy, and maybe even some romance? I’m in!
Watch the trailer below and see if you’re as fascinated as I am by The Ghost Bride:
A rich family brings in a poor girl to marry their dead son as a ghost bride, but there’s a little problem. The dead son’s ghost is hanging around — he’s ticked off because he was poisoned and everyone keeps saying he died of an illness. To get the dead son to quit possessing her dad, the ghost bride agrees to solve his murder.
The hang up? She only has ten days.
I have to admit, it’s the addition of the Heavenly Guard that pulls me in — our heroine isn’t alone! And she seems fiesty and capable — my favorite combination in a heroine. I can’t wait for January 23rd to get here already.
What about you, drama fans? Are you in? Drop down in the comments and let me know if you’re going to watch with me!
Until the next haunting, I remain —

Sounds fun!
They changed it up from the original plot some, but it still sounds good. I enjoyed the novel and am looking forward to seeing it onscreen.
Oh heck yes! This looks awesome!
Also, Taiwan is impressing the heck out of me with their dramas recently. So I’m definitely in!
Having netflix bankrolling some of their projects has really improved the quality. I approve
It looks like they are not afraid to try new things and genres, and having some pretty good actors the end result is exciting!
