It’s here! Fans of Eternal Love (Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms) have been patiently waiting for the companion drama Eternal Love of Dream starring Vengo Gao (Gaston!) and Dilraba Dilmurat and it has finally been released for us to devour.
Some of you (cough, Drama Geek) may have missed out on the first season and have no idea what this one is about, so here is a description of what you should expect.
Two thousand years of enduring love and obsession between the female monarch of Qing Qiu and the ancient god of the Heavenly Kingdom. When Feng Jiu was practicing immortal cultivation alone in the wilderness, she was attacked by a beast and rescued by Dong Hua Di Jun of the Heavenly Kingdom. The encounter becomes deeply ingrained in Feng Jiu’s heart and to repay her debts, she decides to follow Dong Hua into battle. She soon realizes that her good feelings towards him have evolved into love, but Dong Hua is a god who has forgotten what love means. In order to protect Feng Jiu, Dong Hua sends her to the human realm which results in the death of a friend. Feng Jiu enters the Winged Tribe Princess Ah Lan Ruo’s dream sequence in search of a sacred fruit that can bring the dead back to life but gets trapped to relive Ah Lan Ruo’s life for eternity. Dong Hua finds a way to save Feng Jiu and realizes that he already reciprocates her love for him, but another hurdle crosses their path.
But what we all really want to see is Gaston, uh I mean, Vengo Gao with that long flowing hair of his.
Now that DramaGeek has had her say, I (Clkytta) HAVE to pipe up and tell you just how excited I am for this drama! For those of you who are longtime fans of the blog, you may remember just how excited the Fangirls were for The Eternal Love. We were all enamored with Little Fox Princess and we were rooting for her romance with Dong Hua. Their side story was just as riveting as the main story and we loved watching the cold god warm up when Fox Princess came into his life. I’m looking forward to watching our cute and clueless Fox Princess get her man!
You can watch for free on WeTV! It looks like the first 4 episodes are currently available for free, and up to 10 for VIP members.
Check back here for our first impression and see if The Fangirls will be watching, hint, I’m pretty sure a few of the die-hard Eternal Love fans won’t be able to stay away!

It sounds like they’re following the actual novel much more closely that Peach Blossoms did, which I’m excited for because I thought their romance in the novel was better than in the show.
I’ve just finished with the book and I’m glad that they’re following the story closely.
