Prison Playbook: Episode 11

Being in prison isn’t as fun as this show has made it seem the last few episodes. But today we get real when it comes to being locked up with criminals. With the loss of Dr. Ko (I’m still in mourning about that development) there is an empty spot in the cell and some genius decides to transfer Crony in there. First Impressions: Mother

Next up on the First Impressions list is Lee Bo Young’s new drama Mother. This show is a remake of a 2010 Japanese drama by the same name.

Here is a quick synopsis of the premise. Soo Jin (Lee Bo Young) takes a temporary job as a teacher and happens upon a student Hye Na (Heo Yool) who at first glance looks to be a bit unkempt, but once Soo Jin digs deeper into the girl’s home life finds that she’s being abused. After the system seems to fail the little girl, Soo Jin kidnaps her and becomes her mother. Continue reading
