Sometimes in life, a drama comes around that just hits you with all the feels, especially during times of great stress. If ever there was a universal time of great stress it would be now. So, if you need something to watch that will get you in a more hopeful frame of mind, this might … Continue reading First Impressions and Random Thoughts: Twenty-Five Twenty-One
I was originally interested in watching Three Star Bar in Nishi Ogikubo because one of the main characters is named Kobayashi. That is the name of a rather well-known spaceship in Star Trek, and I’m fan enough to want to find out why it appeared in a Japanese drama. Come see if there were starships … Continue reading A Fangirl’s Japanese Drama Review: Three Star Bar In Nishi Ogikubo
One of my favorite shows this last year, On the Verge of Insanity, didn’t get much attention when it originally aired. Fans were watching and commenting, though, and after a lot of hilarious comments about defective dishwashers, I just had to try it out.
You, Me, and Bach is a story about an unlikely friendship between three people from different stages in life who meet accidentally through attending the same music class. I found them very sincere and sweet, got invested in following their story, and really enjoyed the music!

We’ve come to the last jam session of our doctors at Yulje hospital. This episode has a lot of character stories, and yet true to form, it is about another day in the life rather than a dramatic ending. As we did with the first season finale, let’s take each character in turn and see … Continue reading Hospital Playlist: S2E12 Recap
A lot of us were wondering who the ambulance brought in during last week’s cliffhanger. Did you figure it out, or were you way off base? In addition to that story, we get several that show how far our characters have come since the beginning of the show.
Our four guys continue to squabble on occasion, which seems to prove how comfortable they are with each other. In a patient story we see two other friends demonstrating the same kind of behavior, which clues us in to how close they are. And then we get some hints of the future that leave us … Continue reading Hospital Playlist: S2E10 Recap
This week, in addition to the hurdles facing our main characters, we have an ode to the unsung heroes of the hospital — people without whom the patients cannot be properly treated, but who don’t usually get the attention they deserve.
