Fangirls Indian Movie Review: Kahaani

Looking for something new for your summer watchlist? I’m a huge fan of mystery and suspense, so when I stumbled upon the Indian movie Kahaani on Netflix, I was intrigued. Kmuse and I were deep into Indian romantic comedies when this gem popped up on my suggestion list. Nothing is what it seems in this movie, and the mystery goes so much deeper than you realize. A Fangirl’s Movie Review: Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham

So, I did something this week. I casually asked my book club to recommend some Indian movies to watch. They are often chatting about this show or that show, and I’ll admit that I have only watched a handful of Indian films, so I thought, what the heck. And then they promptly gave me a crazy long list of must-see films. So, over the next several week’s I’m going to randomly watch and review the shows that were recommended. Fangirl Indian Movie Review: Padmaavat

It’s the dog days of summer and the temperature where I live is creeping very close to 100 degrees. So I’ve been staying inside watching dramas and movies, as well as doing a bit of blogging. I have a backlog of kdramas to catch up on, but I keep getting tempted by shows outside of Korea and the U.S. The epic Indian historical movie Padmaavat popped up as a recommendation on Amazon Prime and I clicked play.

Fangirl Movie Review: Indian Jane Austen- Bride and Prejudice

This was the very first Indian themed movie I watched. Yes, it’s in English, so it’s not really an Indian language film, but it is the film that inspired me to go looking for Indian language films to watch. This is also one of those movies I watch about once a year. It’s one of those films you have to share with someone, so I normally watch this with my sister-in-law. It’s now a tradition to make our daughters sit down and enjoy this movie with us.
