Lee Seung Gi. Bae Suzy. Shin Sung Rok. Netflix. September 20th. Do you really need to know any more??
If you do, watch this teaser!
And in case you need a reminder like I did, here’s the plot description again:
“Cha Dal-gun (Lee Seung-gi) becomes an awakened tiger in the face of his nephew’s death in a mysterious plane crash. As an orphan himself, he had raised his nephew single-handedly in place of his brother who had passed on. Triggered by the large-scale cover up of the incident, he sets off on a journey to discover the truth. Go Hae-ri (Bae Suzy) is the eldest daughter of a marine who died during an operation. She has always wanted to be a normal civil servant to support her family, but life had other plans and she ends up as a National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent. Their lives intertwine as they discover a tangled web of corruption behind the plane crash. “
I’m totally and completely in! What about you, k-fans?
This fangirl loves to travel and I’m always looking for shows I can download onto my electronic devices and watch while I’m in no man’s land aka on the plane. Last weekend I was headed out of town and I remembered that I had this movie to watch. My best friend, who isn’t into kdramas, watched this one on the plane with me and she laughed while I took notes. I tried to keep my review pretty spoiler free, but beware, I may have slipped one in and not noticed. Continue reading
Oh, the Hong Sisters. That drama writing duo that has given us some of the best and worst moments in Dramaland. Come join The Fangirls as they discuss their latest drama Hwayugi and the highs and lows that have come from it.
Prepare for a shock. There’s a new variety show on the block, and the cast manages to go an entire episode without playing Rock, Paper, Scissors. What is this strange new concoction?
I love that we are getting longer glimpses of our three leads each week. These teasers are top notch at revving up my interest in the latest Hong Sister drama Korean Odyssey (Hwayuki). Word on the street is that Netflix will be airing this drama so expect to have to wait a tiny bit for the subs. Continue reading
SQUEEEEEEEEEE! I am fangirling so hard I can barely breath over here. Lee Sung Gi & Cha Seung Won are back and looking better than ever (at least in their few seconds on screen) in A Korean Odyssey’s 1st teasers. Continue reading
