Most of you are probably wondering if THISLittle Women is anything like THAT Little Women. Clkytta and Drama Geek are here to let you know what’s similar, what’s completely different, and why we think this show is worth watching, no matter what your feelings for the original classic may be.
It’s a good week for dramas fans – SO many new shows have just begun! And in a rather reckless move (mostly to circumvent my indecisiveness), I decided to try them all at once. Unexpectedly, it was the new drama 365: Repeat the Year, that sucked me in for a fast and furious thrill ride! Come find out why I couldn’t stop watching this time-travel mystery.
We started Do Kyung Soo & Nam Ji Hyun’s new drama 100 Days My Prince (Hundred Days’ Husband) this week. Which means it is time for another First Impressions & Unfiltered Thoughts post! Come find out if we think this quirky OTP (One True Pair) is worth watching or if it is a snoozefest skip. Continue reading →
Y’all know how much I struggle with watching historicals, but 100 Days My Prince is tempting me anyway! D.O. is a fantastic actor and this teaser cracks me up. How could I not be won over?
Here’s the plot summary from MDL if you need a refresher like I did: “Lee Yul falls off a cliff and nearly dies in an attempted assassination. He loses his memory and wanders for 100 days under a new name and personality. During this period, he meets Hong Sim, head of the first detective agency in Joseon.”
I’m in. Even looking at my hideously full drama plate, I will make it work SOMEHOW.
What about you, drama fans? Will you be watching? 100 Days My Prince starts on Monday, September 10th, on tvN.
I know I can’t be the only one that is super excited that D.O. (EXO) has finally decided to jump from side/secondary character to leading man. Add in the fact that Nam Ji Hyun is his leading lady and I am all on board. The great teasers just confirm that I have an exciting drama to look forward to come September. Continue reading →
Hello there show that I fell in love with! Plot twists! A bad guy that makes me shiver! Oh so yummy kisses! (These two need an award for most believably natural yet still steamy kisses). We are winding down and just when you thought the rest of the show would be filled with fluff they make sure we remember that even though a criminal is arrested doesn’t mean there isn’t a ton of work to be done to convict him of the everything he is guilty of. Especially when he have amnesia that equals possible mental instability. Continue reading →
Serial Killer woke up. Serial Killer has amnesia but is still as creepy as heck. Serial Killer escapes. Thank you for joining me for this week’s set up episode. 🙂 KMUSE and I have been joking around the last couple of weeks because I really am getting the setup up/filler episodes and she gets all the action, in the bedroom and in the plot. So because my episode was pretty much connecting the dots from one episode to the next we’ll quickly cover that then talk about more important things like adopting Korean Harry Potter and how annoying side characters become ones you enjoy. My love for our quirky OTP (One True Pairing) continues as they join forces (and living quarters) to find the killer that changed their lives so drastically. But all that cohabitation plays havoc on Bong Hee’s self-imposed restraining order, not to mention Ji Wook’s attempts to be the mopiest lawyer in all of Seoul. Join me as I chat all my favorite parts of episodes 7 & 8! Continue reading →
One sided crush or STALKING? Bong Hee has to take a hard look at her own actions and figure out which category she falls in. The case she takes on eerily mirrors her own feelings and she soon realizes she might have to impose her own restraining order before things go too far.
