As though our characters weren’t already making life hard enough for themselves, someone new shows up who feels like he can order anyone around.Continue reading
Here we are at the very end of our drama, and now we have to say goodbye to our characters. How did it turn out, and what do we think of the ending? In trying to express my feelings, instead of a normal recap, I ended up with something slightly different. Be aware there will be SPOILERS.
Since this is nearly the end of the drama, we are expecting a lot of trouble for our characters and in fact, there’s not much cuteness. Human Shin is furious that he has been replaced by a robot, and that most people like the robot better. He sets out to prove that Shin III is nothing but a machine that can be controlled. We just didn’t think that half of our time would be spent on the rooftop. SPOILERS are coming up.
Can a human truly care for a robot more than for another human? Can a robot truly understand and feel human emotions? If that were to happen if androids could be that advanced and were designed to learn on their own, how would that look? The writer and staff of Are You Human Too have been thinking that over. Come see if you agree with their ideas. Be aware that there will be SPOILERS AHEAD.
This scene is shown with the opening titles, so we’ve seen it before plenty of times and have been waiting for it to happen. Beautifully silhouetted and backlit, Shin III stops the car! It’s similar to our favorite stunt in You Who Came From The Stars. Come along and see how it fits into the story. We WILL HAVE SPOILERS for these two episodes.
We don’t have many science fiction Korean dramas and when one comes up, I’m always interested to see how they will handle it. This drama is already throwing us a lot of questions. Can machines have emotions? Can we trust their decisions? Can they be treated the same as humans? Having enjoyed I’m Not a Robot and being a long-time fan of Data and R. Daneel Olivaw, you can imagine that I will be on the side of the robot!
There is a lot of falling down in these episodes. There are low points and crashes, in particular, one that we have seen coming for a long time. Sometimes it surprises you who turns out to be a friend, and as long as you have friends, there are also good times and getting back up. SPOILERS COMING OF COURSE!
Although we have some cute moments today, we are coming to the part of the story where our characters are getting into more difficult times. Min Ho, Yoon Joo, and the Chief, in particular, are running into their shortcomings and the consequences of their past. They come out of this episode with flying colors, however, and we get to see them at their best. SPOILERS COMING UP.
This episode is full of cat and mouse antics between Ji Wook and the truth regarding the chef’s murder. It is so difficult when one knows that something is true, but can’t actually prove it. Something that Ji Wook comes to know first-hand as he fights to unravel the mystery of Hyun Soo. Continue reading
Perhaps was the theme this week. Is Louie close to finding out his true identity? Perhaps. Has Cha realized he doesn’t have a cupcake’s chance in Kindergarten with Go Bok Sil? Perhaps. Did Seo In Guk find new ways of being adorable? Duh! Continue reading
