First Impression – Lost

It’s been five long years since Ryu Joon Yeol and Jeon Do Yeon have graced the small screen, and it’s no surprise that their comeback show feels more like an indie movie than your typical Kdrama. Both have been busy making movies during that time, and are well known for portraying nuanced characters with some pretty powerful performances. The first two episodes prove that they’re bringing that talent to this drama and the show feels deeply layered because of it.

Upcoming Dramas for September 2021

Known as the Korean version of Thanksgiving, Chuseok will land on September 20-22 this year. Why is this important to international viewers? Because tv stations want to grab idle eyeballs, so they’ll load up all the good stuff around the holiday. This translates to FIVE dramas debuting on September 17th, the Friday before Chuseok. That is a LOT of dramas! Come see if you’ll be adding any of them to your watch list.

Kmuse’s End of Year Countdown – Favorite kdrama Actors of 2015

Slowly (too slowly) we are making our way through the “End of Year” lists.  I always say I am going to be totally on top of it and finish before January 1st.  But here we are only on my favorite actors with several more lists yet to come.  But what is a kaddict to do when you have a topic with so many award winning performances?  Just keep on blogging of course.  Even if that means that it goes a little bit into 2016.
