Welcome to the age of illegal spirits. Rice is scare so the king has banned all production, distribution, and consumption of alcohol. We all know how that goes: the rich keep drinking and the poor keep starving. What’s surprising is our male lead (Yoo Seung Ho) is on the side of righteousness with a proper stick up his butt, but all he needs is an independent moonshine dealer to help him loosen up. Kang Ro Seo (Lee Hye Ri) has bills to pay and her late father’s recipe for rice wine is just what she needs to free herself of debt. Throw in a hot Crown Prince who loves his wine, and a maiden with sticky fingers, and we’re in for a fun ride.Continue reading

I woke up to Kmuse flooding my inbox with teasers. That’s not really all that new, except I saw that we have all our favorite actors with new dramas! Yoo Seung Ho, Lee Jong Suk, Song Hye Ko, and Park Bo Gum! Woot! I’ve been in a bit of a drama rut so this made my heart very thankful this morning.
Yoo Seung Ho (I’m Not a Robot) is back on the small screen and this fangirl can’t wait to see his swoony smile week after week! The new teaser doesn’t really give anything away about the plot, but our main leads look gorgeous. Watch the teaser and see if you agree…
The most adorable smile in Kdramaland (you can argue with me, but then you’d have to fight me) is returning to the small screen!
Yoo Seung Ho has been confirmed as the lead for Revenge is Back, a drama written by newcomer Kim Yoon Young and directed by Wok of Love‘s Ham Joon Ho. According to MyDramaList.com, “When Kang Bok Soo was a high school student, he was falsely accused of committing violence and kicked out of school. This was caused by his first love Son Soo Jung and a male student Oh Se Ho. Kang Bok Soo is a now an adult, but his life has not gone smoothly. To get revenge on Son Soo Jung and Oh Se Ho, he returns to the same high school as a student. The environment at the school has changed and Kang Bok Soo gets involved in unexpected cases.”
I’m so excited, y’all! I’m in the middle of a rewatch of I Am Not a Robot, so I’m super excited to see Yoo Seung Ho in another great, goofy drama. Crossing my fingers that Revenge is Back will live up to my expectations!
What do you think, drama fans? Will you be watching? The drama will start on SBS in December.
Until December, I remain–

Welcome to the new year, and to our first mini podcast where the fangirls try to focus in on one subject and keep things short and to the point… emphasis on try. For our first go, we decided to focus in on our current favorite romantic comedy I am Not a Robot, and its crackling OTP. Come joins us as we talk post military black tank tops, and blind spots big enough to fall in love with a robot.
When Kmuse and I heard Yoo Seung Ho would be starring in a new drama, we were both hopeful, but feeling cautious. Will this be another drama that showed glimmers of Yoo Seung Ho’s potential, only to dash our fangirl dreams with poorly constructed plots and more chemistry with the animal co-stars than the leading ladies? Read on to see Kdrama Jen’s first impressions and, as always, unfiltered thoughts! Continue reading
