Such a pretty 1st teaser for upcoming drama On the Way to the Airport.  Visually our leads really seem to match well. Which is promptly countered by a very muddled synopsis which raises a ton of my drama trope trigger warnings.  I think I am going to have to wait and get more info before I  commit myself to watching this.  The only thing worse than one cheater is two.

Maybe we can hope that when the synopsis says it is centered around married couples, it means married couples that recently went through tragic divorces and they find 2nd love after they are legally free from all marital entanglements.  A fangirl can hope right?

SYNOPSIS: “On the Way to the Airport” centers around married couples and the “second adolescence” experienced in one’s late thirties and early forties. It isn’t a drama that’s specifically about flight crew but does intend to portray their everyday lives in detail. It also depicts island life on Jeju as well as old-fashioned Korean architecture, both noted as popular romantic ideas/fantasies.

On the Way to the Airport is set to air on September 21st.
