We finally have our first glimpse of future OTP (One true pairing) Ha Ji Won and Kang Min Hyuk in upcoming medical drama Hospital Ship… and so far, I have no complaints. Which is surprising, since I was all prepared to point at the obvious lack of visual chemistry since it is such an odd drama pairing.
Not that I can declare their chemistry sizzling or even mildly warm since most of the scenes shown are not of our OTP combined, but what we do see isn’t bad. In fact, I would say that the cinematography is pretty darn beautiful (and not just because Kang Min Hyuk is a certified khottie.)
The plot is that of a group of doctors traveling to remote islands to provide medical services. It’s a story that provides us with that exotic traveling feel without the awkward foreigner scenes that have many of us international viewers cringing. Also, judging from the teaser, the director has taken full advantage of the location shoots to get some really pretty scenes (again, not just referencing the beauty that is Kang Min Hyuk).

Looks good and I am just hoping DF or Viki picks it up so I can watch it. I love Ha Ji Won’s dramas so looking forward to this one as well.
It should be on Viki Premium… at least hypathetically with their Kocowa deal.
