Top 7 Kpop MVs: Friday Round-Up

So much good music, so little time! If you’re like me and have had a crazy-busy week, but still need your Kpop fix, I’ve got you covered!! Come check out all that’s new and keeping me grooving, as we roll into the weekend…

Han Seung Yun – ‘Lovender’ (Band ver.)

‘Lovender’ actually dropped about a month ago and at the time the official MV was a pass for me. BUT, I happened to catch the band version last week and I totally fell for the sunny visuals and fluid vocals of this remix!

Tempest – ‘Bad News’

Tempest is a brand new rookie group and they are hitting the scene with a strong debut track! ‘Bad News’ is bright, fun and full of energy. I especially love the choreography – it’s definitely a get-up-and-dance kind of song!

TVXQ – ‘Epitaph ~for the future~’

TVQX is back with a new Japanese album, ‘Epitaph’, featuring a MV for their title track of the same name. I always look forward to new music from this duo, and their bold, rock-driven song did not disappoint!! They continue to impress and confidently hold their own amidst a sea of younger, rising Kpop acts.

WEi – ‘Too Bad’

I honestly have no idea what sort of concept they were trying to go with for this music video, lol! But the song is too catchy to pass up so— don’t think too hard and just enjoy this fun new tune from WEi!

KiHyun – ‘Voyager’

Monsta X’s KiHyun dropped his first solo album! It may be short, with just three tracks, but they are all bops and I may have been listening to them on endless repeat the last few days… ‘Voyager’ features fantastic vocals and a bluesy rock beat – I’ll just let the MV speak for itself!

NU’EST – ‘Again’

Coinciding with the expiration of the members’ contracts, the release of NU’EST’s most recent album is also, sadly, their last. They officially announced their disbandment on March 15th, concluding ten years together.  It’s hard not to get teary-eyed with the lyrics of ‘Again’, which feel like a very bittersweet goodbye letter to their fans.

Stray Kids – ‘Maniac’

Stray Kids are embracing their inner weird with ‘Maniac’, off their newest album Oddinary. . . and I love it!! An addictive song with a middle eastern vibe, powerful raps (Felix dropping low on the chorus is THE best!!), and all the signature sassy ‘tude make this another hit track from SKZ!

OK Kpop fans, what new song is going to be your anthem to finish Friday strong?? Give a shout out in the comments below, and let me know!
