Top 5 Kpop MVs: Rich Visuals, Captivating Songs

From music videos I can’t look away from to songs I can’t stop listening to, this week’s kpop offerings have me captivated in the very best way. Come see if you’re as entranced as I am with this week’s Top 5 Kpop MVs!

Mino – “Run Away”

Mino is my favorite vocalist in WINNER, and I’m loving this solo song of his. With great melodic depth, enthralling visuals, and stunning cinematography, I was captivated from the very first moment. Seriously, why are post-breakup songs so amazing??

Cix -“Jungle”

This MV is an EXPERIENCE. The dark, trance-like beats, the rich imagery, the SKELETONS — it all combines into a compelling must-watch video. I couldn’t look away, and let me tell you, skeletons are NOT my favorite thing.

Lim Young Woong – “Hero”

Lim Young Woong’s rich, velvety voice is a perfect pairing with this compelling ballad, making it a decadent listening experience. Make sure you have both earbuds in for this one. Trust me.

Park Ji Hoon – “Gotcha”

Need a little Latin backbeat to liven up your week? Park Ji Hoon has got you covered! Between that and his confident smirk, this MV is a delight.

Gaho – “Running” (Start Up OST)

This drama has become must-watch tv for me every week, and Gaho’s music does a brilliant job of capturing the energetic, hopeful feel of these young entrepreneurs. Also, GAHO!!

Bonus Track: RISIN’ from France – “Dynamite” Dance Cover

These ladies are the EPITOME of disco pop, from their bell bottoms to their gold jewelry. I’m loving this dance cover — they’re confident and fully into it, and each dancer’s personality seems to match the idol’s part she was matched with. Give it a watch and see if you agree!

I’m loving the artistry we get to experience this week, drama fans. Have you found a new artist to follow? I hope so! Drop down in the comments and let me know who it is.

Until the next song drops, I remain —
