Could this drama look anymore whimsical and cute? Pretty much every photo I see for this drama makes me happy. With that said, I am really sad that MBC is really dropping the ball on creating any buzz. One More Happy Ending is looking like it will be so much fun. My solution is to do my own little promotion since I really hope this show does well. That and any drama that goes to the effort of having such cute clothes deserves a shout-out. I pretty much want every outfit seen in these Instagram pics.
Han Mi-Mo (Jang Na-Ra), Baek Da-Jung (You Da-In), Go Dong-Mi (Yoo In-Na) and Hong Ae-Ran (Seo In-Young) were once members of idol group “Angels.”
Han Mi-Mo now works as a rep for a remarriage consulting business. She is also divorced. Her former bandmate Baek Da-Jung is also a rep at the same company. She married a rich man, but her marriage is on the rocks. Go Dong-Mi is now an elementary school teacher. She is single and feels lonely. Hong Ae-Ran is a representative for an internet shopping mall. The women are still friends.
Song Soo-Hyuk (Jung Kyung-Ho) is a reporter and a single father. He has a friend, Goo Hae-Joon (Kwon Yool), who is a doctor and single. Song Soo-Hyuk and Goo Hae-Joon become involved with the women.
Those dresses just scream that our leading lady believes in love. Which is good since she runs a 2nd chance matchmaking business for those that are divorced or widowed.
The story also follows Jang Nara’s fellow idolmates. It looks like we will be having a healthy dose of sismance since the drama is following all of their love hijinks. I am really really hoping that we don’t get the usual “screw your friend over for love” trope that we have had in past girl focused dramas. Even when they eventually fix the relationships, that kind of storyline always pisses me off.
I will be completely honest and admit I am mostly watching this drama for Jung Kyung-Ho. He is just one of those actors I always love regardless of the quality of the character development. Watching him just makes me happy. I am also happy that he is so active in social media since we get adorable selfies while he films. Enjoy the cute and plan on checking One More Happy Ending out on the 20th.
