The same people who created the Answer Me series, which as you all know, I adored, have come up with Wise Prison Life, a slice of life comedy set in a prison. Short teaser after the jump.
The cast list looks interesting. Sung Do Il, Choi Moo Sung, and Yoo Jae Myung (the dads from Answer Me 1988) will be making appearances, as well as Jung Woong In, the villain from I Hear Your Voice. The main cast includes Park Hae Soo, Jung Kyung Ho, and Krystal. I’ve seen Krystal as a territorial girlfriend (Heirs) and a cold territorial goddess (Bride of Habaek), so it’ll be interesting to see if she handles something new here.
Wise Prison Life will air on tvN on Wednesdays and Thursdays, starting November 22nd. See you there, drama fans!

Please let it be JKH’s biggest break. Hsi shows have not been doing well in ratings recently. And he is agreat actor. Plus I guess The PD is the same as answer me series but not the writer. Since this PD is known for bringing the good in actors/idols, I hope he would also be able to make Krystal act.

I just checked asianwiki and it’s not — Jung Bo Hoon is the writer. According to Soompi, he was a writer for the Reply series, but he’s not credited on asianwiki. SO. I have no idea.
As much as I know the writer was a junior writer at at the answer me franchise. Not the main one but an assistant.
