The Road: The Tragedy of One

If you liked The Penthouse, then The Road might just be the drama you’re looking for next. Anchorman Baek Soo Hyun (Ji Jin Hee, Move to Heaven) and his wife Seo Eun Soo (Yoon Se Ah, Stranger 2) live in Royal the Hill, a community for the top 1%. Baek Soo Hyun has the trust of the people, but in reality he is cold and determined to get what he wants. Seo Eun Soo is the daughter of a conglomerate family, but her focus is on protecting her family. At the broadcast station is announcer Cha Seo Young (Kim Hye Eun, Graceful Friends), who has everything she could want, but isn’t satisfied.
Police University

Yoo Dong Man (Cha Tae Hyun, Team Bulldog) was a detective for 20 years, covering violent crimes and cyber crimes among others, and is now a professor at the police university. He works together with his rookie students, including hacker Kang Sun Ho (Jin Young, My First First Love) and the very upright Oh Kang Hee (Krystal, Bride of Habaek), to solve a case.

Sun Hwa (Uhm Hyun Kyung, Hide and Seek) and Sang Hyeok (Han Ki Woong, Royal Gambler) have known each other since childhood, leading them to date and even have a child together. Tragedy strikes Sun Hwa when Sang Hyeok has an affair with Jae Kyung (Oh Seung Ah, Grand Prince) and Sun Hwa is falsely accused of murdering her child. Things start to change when she meets Jae Min (Cha Seo Won, Liver or Die), Jae Kyung’s stepbrother.

Dentist Yoon Hye Jin (Shin Min Ah, Chief of Staff) ends up moving to the seaside village of Gongjin, where she meets Hong Du Sik (Kim Seon Ho, Start Up), an unemployed man who always seems busy, and who the entire village calls Chief Hong. Yoon Hye Jin becomes determined to learn more about him.
