Our journey with the underdogs continues! From rookie groups to opera, this week’s top kpop covers ALL the grooves. Come see if these hits from Cravity, BE’O, Mirae, Adora, or La Poem will find their way onto your frequently played list!
Cravity – “Party Rock”
You know who’s adorable? CRAVITY. “Party Rock” is a great end-of-summer anthem for your party needs, and I’m loving the vibe.
BE’O – “Complex” featuring Zico
You canNOT go wrong when you’ve got Zico rapping for you. BE’O has the skills to make this song interesting, so Zico is the frosting on a well-constructed cake.
Mirae – “Drip N Drop”
“Drip N Drop” is a solid entry into Mirae’s discography, full of rich urban detail and tight choreography.
Adora – “Magical Symphony”
“Quirky” is going to be used way too often to describe Adora’s style, but that doesn’t matter, because I LOVE IT. This MV is charming and colorful and very much worth the watch!
La Poem – “The War”
Dramatic and beautiful and staged like a kpop band, La Poem brings the seriousness a song like “The War” needs to the table. I’m loving La Poem’s moment, and I hope it lasts a long, long time.
BONUS TRACK: Kim Youngchul – “Marc Got It”
Singing on exercise bikes with a WILD green screen behind them – I’m not sure anything else quite captures the spirit of trot than this MV. (Okay, lots of trot MVs do. Just go with me here.) Enjoy the insanity!
