Top 5 Kpop MVs: Slowing It Down

The MVs this week are more reflective, music fans, and I love it. From Jackson’s solo work to CIX’s take on movies, it’s been a gentle journey without being boring. Read on to see what I mean!

Jackson Wang – “Alone”

I love this anthem from Jackson. His gritty voice is always magic, and I love the overt symbolism in this MV that moves from being caged to being free and standing on his own.

CIX – “Cinema”

“Cinema” and “Young” are my favorite songs from CIX’s latest album. They really show how CIX is growing into their sound — it’s definitely feeling more grounded.

BIBI – “Eat My Love”

This is a great little bop, and I adore BIBI’s message. I mean, how could I not? She’s adorable!

Gaho – “Home”

I cannot tell you how excited I am to have new music from Gaho. Maybe just knowing that I watched this MV five times in a row might convey my excitement. Also, he looks really cold, doesn’t he? It’s still a great MV and I love the song. It’s a keeper.

Kim Myung Soo – “Memory”

Kim Myung Soo’s voice is like a blanket — warm and comforting as it wraps around your ears. I love this song, too, and the warm and comforting vibe of the music video. It’s so very perfect for a winter day!

What’s been ending up on your playlist, music fans? Let me know!

Until the next album drops, I remain —
