Ooooh. I’m so ready to fall in love with all the historic hotties in this drama. How can I not when their Manes of Glory are so beautifully quaffed?

My Country follows the dramatic happenings that occur at the end of the Goryeo and the start of the Joseon era. Which just so happens to be a favorite background of mine when it comes to Sageuks. All the atrocities that occur in the name of power make for a compelling background for a drama.

Woo Do Hwan (Save Me) and Yang Se Jong (Still 17) play besties who find themselves on opposite sides of the battle for the throne. Just from the teaser, I suspect this tragic bromance is going to kill me with feels. Add the fact that Jang Hyuk is playing the role of ruthless Lee Bang Won and I’m sold.
