Now this is more like it. I was a bit sad when Neighborhood Hero‘s first teaser was so short, and lacking in anything other than a mysterious man running in a track suit. I was also wondering if they were going to try and pretend Park Shi Hoo was not the actual lead. But YAY! Here he is looking pretty good.
Synopsis
Baek Shi-Yoon is an ex-secret agent and a well-trained human weapon. Hiding his past, he buys the bar “Neighborhood” and runs it is as the owner. He gets close to the neighborhood regulars at his bar and sympathizes with their pain. Shi-Yoon then meets a young man who works as a temporary employee, but who wants to become a police officer. Shi-Yoon trains him as a secret agent and they fight together against evil.
I am always a fan of vigilante secret khotties on a mission of justice type tropes so this drama is right up my ally. I also really enjoy almost all of OCN’s programming so there is a good chance this will be a great Kmuse drama. “Neighborhood Hero” will air on January 23rd.
