Top 10 Kpop MVs – Summer is HERE!

Summer is in full swing, kpop fans, and our groups have got the songs we need for our ultimate summer playlists. Come check them out and get ready to load up with plenty of butter!

BTS – “Butter”

If you haven’t heard this song yet, what rock have you been living under? BTS’ newest English-only bop is as smooth as they claim, and I’m loving all the remixes. Which one is your favorite? You have PLENTY to choose from.

Blitzers – “Breathe Again”

When a new group comes out of the gate hitting this hard, I always get optimistic about their future. Blitzers know what they want, and they are going after it!

Oneus – “Black Mirror”

I’m loving this heavily MJ-inspired bop from Oneus, but that’s not hard — I just love Oneus! Come check out the song that should DEFINITELY end up on your summer playlist.

Onewe – “Feeling Good”

Have y’all seen the ambient video based on this MV? I love to have it playing while I write. What I love even MORE is this song — it’s the perfect mellow bop to balance out my summer playlist.

Dreamcatcher – “Shadow”

Dark Hole may not have caught everyone’s attention — and trigger warning for those who don’t do horror — but this song is fabulous and dramatic and EVERYTHING. Dreamcatcher is so suited for this kind of OST, and I love that we have two versions of the song — they’re both so poignant!

E’last U – “The Beginning of Spring”

E’last really knows how to channel the “lyrically beautiful” vibe — both with their voices and with the MV. I’m really enjoying it.

Gaho – “Rush Hour”

Only Gaho could make being stuck in baking hot rush hour traffic seem like a good thing with this little delight. Talk about taking car dancing to a whole new level!

Ailee – “Make Up Your Mind”

What an epic voice Ailee has! She knows her range and her tone so very well, and I don’t think I’ve ever heard a song of hers that didn’t make me want to immediately listen to it twice. Check this out:

CNBlue – “Zoom”

Y’all, I don’t stan CNBlue, so I felt like an idiot when I realized the drummer is none other than Kang Min Hyuk, the adorable smiler from How to Be Thirty. Also, this song made me rethink my stance on not stanning them, possibly because of Lee Jung Shin’s rapping….

Ha HyunSang – “Late Night Movie”

I have always loved HyunSang’s solo efforts, and “Late Night Movie” is no exception. It’s got a magical nighttime, summer stargazing vibe that I just don’t want to let go of.

BONUS TRACK: Norazo – “Vegetable”

Who doesn’t love a little silly kpop in the mix? I love Norazo’s serious dedication to the absurd and celebrate it every chance I get.

What’s going to be on repeat in your car, music fans? Drop down in the comments and let me know!

Until the next remix drops, I remain —

Karie the Maknae
